Cara Delevingne by Quentin de Briey in Vogue Spain

Posting this because I'm still dreaming about it and why the hell not anyway?

Besides Cara being Cara, the washed-out, laced-up, gloriously sunfaded and fringed aesthetic in these shots is exactly where I want to be right now. Ivory layered on white layered on taupe and tan. Tall boots and the kind of hair only a good night's sleep could accomplish.

Caught somewhere in that winter-transitioning-into-spring fog, and I don't hate it.

And oh yeah, happy 2013.

Aline Weber by David Vasiljevic for Vogue Turkey May 2012

Well howdy there, pretty lady.

More than anything I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate that hair style into my week...

for errands and lunching

easy errands and lunching

Ideal outfitting for daytime-errands/lunching. I'm imagining a sloppily thrown-up high bun and minimal makeup (dewy skin, strong brow + lip balm).

easy peasy.

s u n h a n d s

video by Joy Newell

My creative-partner/bestfriend/soulmate and I worked on this project together over a year ago. I vaguely recall an entire comforter's worth of feathers, sand between my toes and under my fingernails and the faint idea that I was some sort of a fiery sun bride.

And though it still remains miss-titled (thanks to vimeo being vimeo) so many months later, we've finally released it to the public. I do hope you enjoy our little feathered fantasy.
