Became acquainted with this label a month or so ago when browsing nymag.com.

It was an instant affection. The structure of this clothing is disgustingly beautiful. This collection was plush and dark and rich and decadent and delicious and I absolutely adore it.

I die over that first look. D-I-E!!! I must replicate it immediately.

photobooth obsessed...still.

I remain in lust with the Warhol-esque setting on Photobooth. My favorite = taking pics,

 cropping just one of the 4 out, and editing them to be black + white on iPhoto.

Pure vanity? Maybe...But I just love the shadowing and vibe of this effect. It looks like a still from an Andy Warhol film...Poor Little Rich Girl, perhaps? 

Now if I could only be half as cool as Edie...

Where the Wild Things Are

Just a few shots from being out and about the other day on Melrose after the UCLA/Oregon game. Oh, this wall. How I adore it. I should have gotten a bigger shot of this amazingness, but ah wells. Its a huge graffiti/mural illustration of Where the Wild Things Are. (Its right across the street from Urban and Starbucks near AA and American Vintage.) 

These pics are more about the wall behind me than the outfit I am wearing, but im rockin a see-through, thrifted lace dress, AA leggings, and Bakers boots.

In a sea of dreary greys and dreadful blacks, you are beacon of hope and light. Though I have seen many a collection in these weeks, none has brought me such joy as yours and the deliciously styled looks that graced your runway, my precious friend. The gaiety of your pastels, the richness of your tertiaries, the glory of your pattern and texture. They fill me with delight.

I applaud you. I adore you. I look to you in utmost and sincere admiration. While most seem to brace themselves for what they must think will be a fearsome fall season with darkness and protective structure, you embrace the possibilities that autumn and winter may bring. Brava, Marvelous One. Brava.

Kinda diggin the whole pants-tucked-into-thigh-high-boots thing via Isabel Marant. Very pumpkin  hose-esque, circa 1600 in the Elizabethan ages.
